Well I figured I'd go ahead and get the ball rolling on the first thread in here:
I love that this mini range is being sculpted by the tallented Mr. Olley, the Palaudis, Luftle, and Floris tribes look great so far!
Is there a rough timeframe for the remaining 3 tribes? I've only just now discovered the artwork for them (in the avatar selections, haha) and am very excited to see how they'll look in miniature form.
EDIT: I edited the title to make this a more generic thread on the last three tribes, rather than just talking about the greens, so discuss away!

I agree Tom that Bob has done a brilliant job with the tribes so far and I know the rest will look fantastic as well. I don't have an exact timeline to give you, however I'm hoping to be able to show you the next tribe some time in the next fortnight. I think we are going with the Hydris tribe as the next one getting sculpted up. This leaves the Ignis Tribe and the Nimbus Tribe after that. My question to everyone would be, which do you want to see first the Nimbus? Or the Ignis? Here is the concept sketches for the tribes unseen so far. Hydris Ignis Nimbus Cheers, Ben.

I'm happy to see either, as long as we get to see them both shortly. hehe

If I had to pick I'd cast my vote for Ignis (I like their rocky hides), but really I'm excited for all of them.

Sounds like we need a tie breaker! If we get one, that will determine who is sculpted after the Hydris!

Seeing the Natural Selection card in the other thread got me to thinking about color-scheming for the remaining three tribes, and how I'd like to paint mine:
Hydris - blue seems like the way to go, but I might give mine a white or cream-colored underbelly to provide countershading, like you might see on many real-life aquatic animals.
Nimbus - I really like the color scheme our fearless leader came up with, and will probably stick to that for these guys (or at least very similar). It might be cool to give the chieftan tattooed wings to help set him apart, too!
Ignis - I think I'll stick to the red arms/eyestalk, but for the rocky hide I'd like to paint the cracks in between in orange and yellow, and then have the rock itself in a nice shiny black color to look like volcanic rock. That may be beyond my painting abilities, but if I can pull it off that's the look I'll be going for.

Nimbus it is then Matt! Nice choices mate, the Ignis will look great like that as their weapons are made of Obsidian (a jet black shiny stone) so, it will suit them to a T. In terms of Hydris, I agree, a cream belly is the way I will be going for the photos in the book (and the scientific journal stuff). Thanks on the Nimbus, I really like the scheme I've come up with, but could also see them going anything from total Parrot or Lorikeet colours to something more Kingfisher-esque. This is precisely the reason why I am so eager to see which way people go with the colour schemes! ;D Cheers, Ben.

Haven't seen any forum chatter on the Ignis greens and this seemed like the place to put it - I love the models! Right up there with Floris for me (or maybe my new favorite of the tribes...).
Pinching pennies so I can get a full tribe of each, then I've got my work painting cut out for me. Hope to slowly build up the remaining tribes after that.
