I know most of you will have seen these images before as well, but I am keeping this forum up to date with what's been announced. This is the second lot of figures for the range to have been sculpted by the very talented Bob Olley. I really love how these guys have turned out. Here is a photo that demonstrates the scale of these figures: EDIT: Here are the first painted samples that I have received from Kosta - I love them! So guys, what do you think? They paint up really well I think! Time to put a lick of paint on a set myself now I think... but not before trying to finish off the website this weekend... fingers crossed! Cheers, Ben. In the game, the Luftles can be played as either a tribe in their own right (with expanded numbers) or as additions to a regular Occulite tribe. They have no eyes, but utilise a mixture of sonar and ground vibrations to allow them to function right up to the very edge of the long dark. Their bodies match the colour of the ground where they live, which is usually a range of browns. Their head is a bright pink, the colour of the 'Bulba' flowers, and has a projection of reeds at the back of their heads which helps them camouflage in with their surroundings. Their skin ranges from a drab olive green to a light green. How will you paint yours?

Love these little buggers!
I like the drab brownish body with bright head that you've come up with pretty well, although I might give mine red limbs/feet to make them stand out a bit from other tribes, and being diminutive as they are that might make them a little impish too!
For the head, I kind of like the idea of adding some white spots to the head/bulb, like a piranha plant from the Mario videogames.

Some white spots could look quite cool actually - nice idea Tom!

Fantastic stuff. I like the colors but might go with a redder color for the head and vary the shades of the reeds on their heads to signify age along with matching grass tufts.
